A little bit about me…I grew up in Beaver, PA and I was very involved in the music department both in choir and band growing up. From there, I went to Baldwin Wallace University to major in Music Education. At Baldwin Wallace, I was president of the Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association Local Chapter and I also managed the Baldwin Wallace Men’s Chorus. I also was one of the founding members of the A Capella Ensemble Mr. Sun’s Echo.
This will be my fifth year of teaching at Avon Lake. Outside of AL, I am the music director at Rocky River United Methodist Church where I direct their chancel choir. I also compose my own music and collaborate with many local musicians and other organizations in the Cleveland Area where my music is performed.
In my spare time…(What’s That?)…I enjoy playing my piano, composing music, riding my bike, and cooking. I love to travel…I once traveled to Jamaica and taught students there for a service project…I also have an obsession with penguins. If you don’t believe me, come to my classroom. I have enough to fill Antarctica with penguins!
